How To Cook Steak In The Oven Without Searing

Steak is a delectable and versatile food that can be cooked on the stovetop, in the oven, or outside on the grill. This article will show how to cook steak in the oven without first searing it, as this method ensures an even cooking procedure that results in a tender piece of meat that is neither overcooked nor underdone.

What is Steak Searing?

Steak searing is a technique used to cook a steak in a hot cast-iron pan over a stove fire, resulting in a crispy exterior that gives it a substantial structure and adds crunchiness to each mouthful.

1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. 2. Put foil on a baking sheet and place the steak on it.

3. Using a paper towel, pat it dry. 4. Season the oil and spices into the steak. 5. Put the baking sheet in the oven and cook for 6 minutes before flipping the steak.

6. Cook for an additional 6 minutes & check the temperature for doneness. 7. Finally, remove the steak from the oven and serve!
