In a large bowl, add peanut butter, softened butter, and salt.
Slowly add powdered sugar ΒΌ cup at a time and whisk the ingredients together until you have used up all the sugar. You will get a thick consistency mixture that will resemble play dough.
In a large bowl, add chocolate chips and place them in the microwave. Start at 20-second intervals until the chocolate chips are melted. Whisk in-between to ensure every single piece melts. You can also melt the chocolate over a double boiler if you prefer.
Place paper cups in each cup of the muffin pan. Pour about a tablespoon of chocolate into the paper cup and spread it at the bottom and sides a bit.
Using your hands, shape the peanut butter mixture into a small ball and place it in the middle of the paper cup.
Cover the peanut butter ball with more chocolate.
Place the muffin tin in the refrigerator for about 20 to 30 minutes to set.
Once done, serve.
