How To Bake Stuffed Chicken Breast

Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (1¼ to 1½ pounds)
  • ½ cup Swiss cheese shredded (2 oz)
  • ½ cup ham coarsely chopped (2 oz)
  • 3 teaspoons melted butter
  • ¾ cup panko crispy bread crumbs Italian style

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Place spinach in a nonstick pan over medium heat and chop. Stir until the spinach has wilted.
  • Stir in the cream cheese until it is melted and creamy. Allow to cool completely. If you don’t want to add anything inside the chicken, you can just add a little lemon.
  • Butterfly the chicken breast (so it opens like a book) and pound it to a thickness of 12 inches.
  • Top each breast with one slice of swiss cheese and the spinach mixture. Wrap chicken tightly around the spinach and cheese. Wrap 2 pieces of bacon around each breast and fasten with toothpicks. If desired, season with cajun or chicken seasoning.
  • Bake for 35-40 minutes on a baking sheet.
