How to Cook Fingerling Potatoes on the Stove

Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds Fingerling potatoes
  • 1/2 TBSP salt
  • 1 TBSP butter
  • 1 TBSP olive oil
  • 3 cloves of chopped garlic
  • 1/2 tsp of black pepper
  • Dash of rosemary and parsley

Instructions
 

  • Wash the potatoes and dry them with a paper towel or cloth.
  • When the potatoes are dried, cut each one into halves.
  • Add the oil to a frying pan.
  • Heat the oil on medium-high for 3-4 minutes before adding the potatoes.
  • After adding potatoes, add some finely chopped garlic into the pan. Cook the potatoes with the garlic for a minute.
  • Once the garlic becomes brown, you can add salt and black pepper to the potatoes. Fry them for 8 to 9 minutes. Don't forget to flip the potatoes while cooking.
  • Add butter into the pan and mix it well. Then sprinkle a dash of rosemary and parsley over the potatoes if desired
  • Cover the pan with a lid for two to three minutes. Before turning the flame off, check the potatoes with a fork to make sure that they are cooked.
