Wash the potatoes and dry them with a paper towel or cloth.
When the potatoes are dried, cut each one into halves.
Add the oil to a frying pan.
Heat the oil on medium-high for 3-4 minutes before adding the potatoes.
After adding potatoes, add some finely chopped garlic into the pan. Cook the potatoes with the garlic for a minute.
Once the garlic becomes brown, you can add salt and black pepper to the potatoes. Fry them for 8 to 9 minutes. Don't forget to flip the potatoes while cooking.
Add butter into the pan and mix it well. Then sprinkle a dash of rosemary and parsley over the potatoes if desired
Cover the pan with a lid for two to three minutes. Before turning the flame off, check the potatoes with a fork to make sure that they are cooked.
