How to air fry pork chops with bone

Preparation time: 8 minutes Cooking time: 12 minutes Total time: 20 minutes Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • 4 Bone-In Pork Chops 2-inch thick
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • For the dry rub:
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese freshly grated
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp mustard powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ¼ tsp cayenne powder
  • ½ tsp Italian herbs
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 ½ tsp salt

Instructions

  • Pat the pork chops dry using a kitchen towel.
  • Rub olive oil on all sides of the pork chops.
  • Add freshly grated parmesan cheese, onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, mustard powder, cayenne powder, Italian herbs, black pepper, and salt in a deep, shallow bowl or plate. Mix well so that everything is well combined.
  • Dip each pork chop in this dry mixture and press it onto pork chops so the mixture sticks to them.
  • Place the coated pork chops in the air fryer basket.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F and cook these pork chops for about 12 minutes. Thicker pork chops may need to cook longer.
  • Don't forget to flip the pork chops halfway into the cook, i.e., after 6 minutes.
  • Once the pork chops get golden and the internal temperature reaches 150 degrees F, take them out of the air fryer basket and place them on a serving plate.
  • Let them rest for about 8 to 10 minutes and slice.
  • Enjoy!
