How to cook cranberries without sugar

Preparation time: 5 minutes; Cooking time:  15 minutes; Total time: 20 minutes; Servings: 1 cup

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1/3 cup water
  • ¼ cup Stevia
  • 1 ¼ tsp. orange zest
  • 1/3 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/3 tsp. vanilla

Instructions
 

  • In a saucepan over medium-high heat, add water, orange zest, cranberries, vanilla and Stevia, mix well and bring to a boil.
  • When the mixture starts to boil, reduce heat to medium-low and continue cooking until cranberries pop up, stirring occasionally.
  • After 5 to 10 minutes of cooking or until mixture thickens up, remove from heat and leave to rest.
  • Once completely cooled, either serve immediately or transfer to a jar and place in the refrigerator for future use.
