Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with paper towels and place a wire rack on top of it, set aside.
Add salt, sugar, baking powder, and flour in a large bowl and whisk until everything combines well. Make a well in the center, add butter, vanilla extract, and egg, and mix gently.
Then pour in the milk and mix until everything combines properly; avoid overmixing.
Pour oil into a deep pot over medium-high heat. When the oil temperature reaches 350 degrees F, dip your Oreo in the prepared batter, shake off the excess batter, and place it in the hot oil.
Fry for 3 to 4 minutes or until both sides turn golden brown. Then remove them from the oil using a slotted spoon and place them on the wire rack until the oil drains.
Immediately sprinkle the fried Oreos with icing sugar, serve and enjoy!
