How to Cook Shrimp On the Grill Without Skewers
Preparation time: 5 minutes; Cooking Time: 10 minutes; Total Time: 10 minutes; Servings: 2
- 1 lb. large shrimp tail on and deveined (we used 26–30 per pound size)
- 1 tbsp. olive oil
- ½ tsp. red chili flakes
- ¼ tsp. garlic powder
- A dash of white vinegar
- A dash of soy sauce
- ¼ tsp. onion powder
- ½ tsp. salt
- Pinch of black pepper freshly ground
Prepare the grill and preheat to medium-high heat (375-450 degrees)
In a mixing bowl, combine the shrimp with olive oil, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt, and toss gently using your hands to coat the shrimp evenly.
Carefully place the shrimp on the preheated grill and cook each side for 1-2 minutes until they turn bright pink and are fully cooked.
Remove the shrimp from the grill and serve by squeezing lemon juice over them to your preference.
