How to Make Grilled Cheese without Butter

Ingredients
  

  • 4 slices bread
  • 6 slices cheese
  • 2 tbs. pickled jalapenos diced
  • 2 tbs. ancho aioli

Instructions
 

  • Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat.
  • Spread a thin layer of ancho aioli on one side of each slice of bread.
  • Place 3 slices of cheese on two of the bread slices.
  • Sprinkle the diced pickled jalapenos on top of the cheese slices.
  • Place the other two bread slices on top of the cheese and jalapeno slices, aioli side down.
  • Place the sandwiches in the pan until the bread is toasted and the cheese is melted, flipping once to cook both sides evenly.
  • Once the sandwiches are cooked, remove them from the pan and let them cool for a few minutes.
  • Cut the sandwiches into halves or quarters and serve hot.
