How to Cook Canned Green Beans with Bacon

Ingredients
  

  • 4 slices of diced and chopped bacon
  • 2-3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2, 14- ounce cans of cut green beans drained
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Instructions
 

  • In a large pan over medium heat, cook the bacon until crisp. Remove the bacon and set it aside.
  • Fill a microwave-safe bowl halfway with bacon fat, set aside one tablespoon, and dispose of the remainder.
  • Return one tablespoon of bacon grease to the skillet and heat over medium-low heat. When the pan is heated, add the garlic and cook.
  • Keep stirring for approximately 30 seconds or until it becomes aromatic.
  • Put the drained green beans and half of the cooked bacon in the pan; cook until heated through, keep stirring until all the beans are coated in the goodness of garlic and bacon.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste, and your epic dish is ready to serve! Put the green beans into the serving dish and top with the remaining bacon.
