In a large pan over medium heat, cook the bacon until crisp. Remove the bacon and set it aside.
Fill a microwave-safe bowl halfway with bacon fat, set aside one tablespoon, and dispose of the remainder.
Return one tablespoon of bacon grease to the skillet and heat over medium-low heat. When the pan is heated, add the garlic and cook.
Keep stirring for approximately 30 seconds or until it becomes aromatic.
Put the drained green beans and half of the cooked bacon in the pan; cook until heated through, keep stirring until all the beans are coated in the goodness of garlic and bacon.
Season with salt and pepper to taste, and your epic dish is ready to serve! Put the green beans into the serving dish and top with the remaining bacon.
