Prepare the spare ribs by peeing off any membrane present on the bony part of the ribs. Pat the ribs dry using a kitchen towel.
Drizzle olive oil over the ribs and rub them with your hands.
Add all the ingredients for the dry rub in a bowl, i.e., smoked paprika, cayenne powder, onion powder, garlic powder, Italian herbs, mustard powder, black pepper, and salt. Mix so that everything is well combined.
Prepare the baking sheet by lining it with aluminum foil. Place the spare ribs on the tin foil-lined baking tray. Keep the meaty side facing upwards.
Generously sprinkle the prepared dry rub over the spare ribs. Pat them so that the dry rub sticks to the ribs.
Place the baking tray in a preheated oven at 275 degrees F for about two or two and a half hours or until the meat is cooked and starts falling off the bones.
Once done, take the baking tray out of the oven and serve the spare ribs with your favorite side and barbecue sauce. Enjoy!
