How to Make Garlic Bread with Sliced Bread

Preparation time: 5 minutes; Cooking time: 10 minutes; Total time: 15 minutes; Serving: 2 to 3


  • 4 white bread slices
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter or salted butter softened
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 tbsp dried oregano finely chopped
  • ½ tsp salt


  • In a bowl, add butter and let it sit at room temperature or until it softens up a bit. Make sure it doesn't melt.
  • Add minced garlic and dried oregano.
  • Season with salt and mix well.
  • Prepare the baking tray by lining it with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
  • Spread the garlic butter evenly across the white bread slice's surface. Make sure you spread the garlic butter mixture on both sides.
  • Place the bread slices on a baking sheet and place them in an oven for about 10 minutes at 350-degree F.
  • Flip the slices after 5 minutes so that the other side gets a golden color and crisps up as well.
  • Once done, take the bread out of the oven and serve it instantly with your favorite dish. Enjoy!
