Boil the eggs for about 10 to 12 minutes or until they are hard-boiled. Place them in iced water.
Now peel them and cut them in half lengthwise using a sharp knife.
Remove the egg yolk and place it in a medium-sized bowl. Place the egg whites on a plate and set them aside.
Using a fork, break down the egg yolks until they are crumbly.
Add mayonnaise, relish, mustard, cayenne pepper and salt.
Mix well until you get a smooth, consistency mixture. You can also use a food processor for this purpose.
Scoop this mixture and place it in the egg white hollow where the yolk was present. You can also use a piping bag to fill the egg whites.
Garnish with finely chopped chives and sprinkle smoked paprika on top.
