Add onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, Italian seasoning, black pepper, and salt to a bowl. Mix well.
Take the steak out of the refrigerator and let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes.
Use a kitchen towel to pat the steak dry.
Drizzle olive oil on the steaks on both sides.
Sprinkle the prepared dry rub over the steaks generously, making sure it covers all sides.
In a skillet, add butter and place it over medium heat.
Once the skillet heats up and butter melts, place the steak on it and sear it for 3 to 5 minutes. Flip the steaks and season them on the other side as well.
Once the steaks get some color, remove them carefully from the skillet and place them on a parchment-lined baking tray.
Place the baking tray in a preheated oven at 350 degrees F for about 15 to 20 minutes. Place the baking tray in the middle rack to get even heat.
Once the steak has an internal temperature of 145 degrees F, remove the baking tray from the oven, remove the steak from the baking tray, and place them on a serving dish.
Cover the dish loosely with aluminum foil and let the steaks rest for 5 to 10 minutes.
Serve with your favorite sides.
