How to Cook Wagyu Steak in Oven

Preparation time: 5 minutes; Cooking time:  30 minutes; Total time: 35 minutes; Servings: 2

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Ribeye steaks
  • 1 tbsp. Olive Oil
  • Fresh sprig rosemary
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Prepare oven and preheat to 300F.
  • Pat dry wagyu ribeye using a paper towel and sprinkle pepper and salt all over the steak.
  • Pour oil into a cast iron skillet over medium-high. Once the oil is hot, add steaks, do not overcrowd them.
  • Sear each side of the steak for 3 to 4 minutes or until the crust becomes caramelized and golden brown.
  • Once done, remove from skillet and transfer to the preheated oven. Cook until you get the desired doneness.
  • Once done, remove from the oven, rest for 10 minutes, then slice and serve.
