Prepare oven and preheat to 300F.
Pat dry wagyu ribeye using a paper towel and sprinkle pepper and salt all over the steak.
Pour oil into a cast iron skillet over medium-high. Once the oil is hot, add steaks, do not overcrowd them.
Sear each side of the steak for 3 to 4 minutes or until the crust becomes caramelized and golden brown.
Once done, remove from skillet and transfer to the preheated oven. Cook until you get the desired doneness.
Once done, remove from the oven, rest for 10 minutes, then slice and serve.
