How to Cook Raw Shrimp with Shell On

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb. shrimp
  • 4 tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. minced garlic
  • 1/4 tsp. paprika
  • 1 tsp. old bay seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tbsp. red wine

Instructions
 

  • If you are using frozen shrimp, thaw them in the refrigerator a day before preparing them.
  • Place a cast iron skillet on the stove over medium heat.
  • When the pan is hot, add the butter, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne, old bay, salt, and pepper, and cook until the butter melts.
  • Add the shrimp to the skillet and stir continuously until the shrimp are fully cooked or when the flesh becomes opaque, turns bright pink, and the tails start to curl.
