How to Make Homemade Biscuits Without Baking Powder

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cups butter cold and in small pieces
  • cups sugar
  • 1 tbsp. yogurt

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the oven and preheat it to 350 degrees F. Also, prepare two baking sheets by lining them with parchment paper.
  • Add the flour, butter, yogurt and sugar in a large mixing bowl, and knead using your hands until everything combines well and shapes into a ball. Place the dough ball into the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  • After 30 minutes, remove the ball from the refrigerator, and roll it into a rectangle using a rolling pin. Cut into 40 cookies using a sharp knife and arrange them on the prepared baking sheets.
  • Place the baking sheets in the oven and bake for 10 to 15 minutes. Repeat the same process with the other baking sheet.
  • Once the biscuits are ready, let them cool completely, then either serve immediately or place them in an air-tight container for future use.
