- Drizzle olive oil in a large pot over medium-low heat, add onions, garlic, and sauté until fragrant.
- Then add collard greens and pour vegetable broth; bring the mixture to a simmer.
- Add salt, red pepper flakes, black pepper and liquid smoke cover the large pot with a lid, and reduce heat to bring the mixture to a low simmer. Cook for 60 minutes.
- When ready, remove from heat and serve immediately.
