How To Cook Halibut Without Drying It Out

Preparation time: 5 minutes; Cooking time: 12 minutes; Total time:  17 minutes; Servings: 4

Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds halibut fillet
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • Freshly chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a small mixing bowl, add melted butter, lemon juice, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, paprika, black pepper, and salt. Mix well so that everything is well combined.
  • Pat the halibut fillets using a kitchen towel and place the fillets on a parchment-lined baking tray.
  • Pour the prepared marinade over the fillets and coat them on all sides.
  • Place the baking tray in a preheated oven at 400 degrees F for about 12 minutes until the fish seems opaque and its internal is 135 degrees F. Don’t cook the fish for longer.
  • Once done, take it out of the oven. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve with mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables. Enjoy!
