  • 12 mini sausages or hot dogs
  • Pizza dough as required
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 1 tsp garlic minced or garlic powder
  • 1 tsp parsley freshly chopped
  • salt to taste

Method
 

  1. Cut the pizza dough into small triangles so that they wrap the mini sausages easily. You can use regular sausages and cut them into pieces as well.
  2. Wrap the sausages in the pizza dough and place them on a parchment-lined cookie sheet.
  3. Add melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and salt in a bowl. Mix well.
  4. Brush the mini sausages wrapped in pizza dough with this butter mixture.
  5. Place the cookie sheet in a preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes at 375-degree F.
  6. Once the pizza dough puffs up and gets a golden color, remove the baking sheet from the oven and serve the pigs in a blanket with a cheese sauce, honey mustard sauce, or your favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy!
