How to make deviled eggs with relish

Preparation time: 2 minutes; Cooking time: 8 minutes; Total time: 10 minutes; Servings: 4 to 6

Ingredients
  

  • 8 hard-boiled eggs
  • ¼ cup + 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 ¼ tbsp relish
  • 1 ¼ tsp yellow mustard
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Smoked paprika for garnish
  • Finely chopped chives for garnish

Method
 

  1. Boil the eggs for about 10 to 12 minutes or until they are hard-boiled. Place them in iced water.
  2. Now peel them and cut them in half lengthwise using a sharp knife.
  3. Remove the egg yolk and place it in a medium-sized bowl. Place the egg whites on a plate and set them aside.
  4. Using a fork, break down the egg yolks until they are crumbly.
  5. Add mayonnaise, relish, mustard, cayenne pepper and salt.
  6. Mix well until you get a smooth, consistency mixture. You can also use a food processor for this purpose.
  7. Scoop this mixture and place it in the egg white hollow where the yolk was present. You can also use a piping bag to fill the egg whites.
  8. Garnish with finely chopped chives and sprinkle smoked paprika on top.
