Marinated in a homemade Italian dressing, baked to perfection, and finished off with grated parmesan and parsley, this dish is the definition of comfort food. Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts, skinless and boneless
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped

For the Italian dressing

  • ½ cup olive oil
  • ¼ cup white wine vinegar
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Add olive oil, white wine vinegar, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, lemon juice, black pepper, and salt in a mason jar. Shake the jar to mix all the ingredients.
  2. Pat the chicken breasts dry using a kitchen towel. Using a mallet, pound the chicken so that it is even in thickness.
  3. Sprinkle onion powder, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes over the chicken breast and rub them.
  4. Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish and pour the homemade Italian dressing over it.
  5. Cover the baking dish with cling film and refrigerate it for at least 6 to 12 hours to marinate.
  6. Take the baking dish out of the refrigerator and place it in a preheated oven at 375 degrees F for about 20 to 25 minutes or until its internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F.
  7. Once the time is up, take the baking dish out of the oven, sprinkle parmesan cheese and parsley on top, and broil for a minute or two.
  8. Serve with your favorite side, and enjoy!
