Tips & Tricks

Grease The Baking Pan Properly

This is the most important but often neglected step ever. We don’t want to end up with scrambled eggs stuck to the pan.

Melt The Butter

Melting the butter is very important. If the butter is melted, then it will be easy for you to grease the baking pan. And you need a generous quantity of butter for scrambled eggs.

Stir The Eggs

Never ever forget to stir the eggs. Otherwise, scrambled eggs will not be formed. So, stir the eggs after 9 minutes of baking.

Don’t Pour The Milk Directly

Pour the milk into the eggs gradually. And don’t stop whisking. This will make your eggs nice and fluffy.

What to Do with Leftover Scrambled Eggs

Breakfast Burritos

Do you ever find yourself staring at leftover scrambled eggs in your fridge, wondering what to do with them? Look no further than transforming them into flavorful breakfast burritos! Begin by taking a soft tortilla and layering on the scrambled eggs along with any pre-cooked bacon or sausage pieces. Dice veggies like bell peppers or onions paired perfectly alongside shredded cheese. Roll the burritos up tightly and heat them up.

Fried Rice

To add a robust flavor to your homemade fried rice, don’t forget to include your leftover scrambled eggs in the recipe.  You can also include some garlic, onions, and veggies like peas and carrots. Pour the cooked and cooled white rice into the same pan along with the eggs from your refrigerator. Add soy sauce and toss all of it together on high heat.

Egg-Stuffed Sandwiches

Why not use those extra scrambled eggs to make a filling and satisfying sandwich? Place the cold eggs on the bottom half of a bun, top with cheese, bacon, or your choice of protein, and broil for about 5-6 minutes to reheat and melt the cheese.  Finish off with some lettuce, tomatoes, or other fixings of your choice, and you have a tasty and easy meal.

Quesadillas

Spread some of your eggs onto one half of a tortilla, and add your favorite type of shredded cheese, along with any cooked meats or veggies you’d like. Fold the tortilla in half and press down lightly to seal. Cook on a griddle or in a non-stick pan until the cheese is melted and the tortilla is crispy and golden brown. Slice into wedges and serve with sour cream, salsa, or guacamole.

Egg and Cheese Casserole

Use your leftover scrambled eggs in a comforting egg and cheese casserole. Begin by layering the bottom of a greased baking dish with your eggs, and add any cooked vegetables, meats, or cheeses you prefer. Pour a mixture of milk, shredded cheese, and some spices over the top, and bake in a preheated oven until the casserole is set and the cheese is golden and bubbly.
