Using a cast-iron skillet for heating corn tortillas is quick and easy. All you have to do is place the skillet on medium heat. Once it is hot, place a corn tortilla on it and let it heat up. Flip it over and wait for a few seconds until both sides are warmed up. Remember that we have to dry heat the tortillas. Don’t add oil to the skillet. The tortillas heat up evenly and are crispier, thanks to the stove!

Also, if you are looking for some char on the tortillas, skip the skillet and reheat them by direct contact with the heat. Use tongs for assistance and heat them up on direct stovetop heat from both sides. This is a way to heat up tortillas especially if you like them a little bit on the crispy side.
